PaxCam FREE
Image Stitching Software
and More!
Every PAXcam includes powerful PAX-it image processing routines for your image manipulation. The Free Image Stitching Software in PAX-it is fantastic, and allows you to "stitch multiple images" together to create one, large image covering your full area of interest.

Image Stitching

Want to grab a very high resolution image, but you can’t get everything you need in your field of view? With PAX-it, that is not a problem. The image stitching routine will allow you to grab adjacent images and have PAX-it automatically stitch them together into a low-power, high resolution image.

Very little user interaction is required, no need to manually position images in a tedious process, PAX-it will analyze the images and determine where they need to go.

Unlike most other “stitching” applications, PAX-it can even handle images that are rotated with respect to each other. Perfect if you are moving a sample by hand!

PAXit Also Includes These Powerful Image Processing Features

Image Fusion

Image fusion is the perfect tool for those samples that are too thick to get entirely focused. PAX-it will allow you to grab several images, focusing on different planes through the sample. Then, you can combine these images into one evenly focused image.

This feature is great for reporting. Why show a peer, a customer or your boss an unevenly focused image, when you can print, present, or email an image that is sharp?

Background Subtraction

Have dust in your optical path that should not be included in your analysis? Have uneven illumination on your samples? These types of issues can be overcome by subtracting the background from your images.

Image Blending

Combine multiple images into one. For example red, green, and blue fluorescence images taken separately can be merged into one view to see the relationship between structures. Users can adjust the level of ‘transparency’ of the different channels.
